What San Antonio Homeowners Say About Thistledown Insulation San Antonio
Reviews tell you what a brochure can’t. When a San Antonio homeowner opens their attic hatch after our crew leaves, they see the difference immediately: consistent coverage, clean lines, no gaps. We earn every review by doing the unglamorous things right. Lay down drop cloths from the front door to the attic hatch. Wear shoe covers without being asked. Hand over a written price before the first bag of insulation comes off the truck. Write the quote honestly, even when the honest number is higher than the guy who calls back three days later. That’s how you build trust in this city, one attic at a time.

“Our electric bill in July used to make me wince. Thistledown blew in Owens Corning attic insulation to R-38 and the upstairs finally stays below 80 without the AC running nonstop. Neil walked me through the R-value math before we agreed on anything.”

“We have two dogs and a cat, so I asked about product safety. They recommended a pet-safe GreenFiber option and explained exactly what was in it. Crew wore shoe covers the whole time and left the hallway cleaner than they found it.”

“I called at 10 p.m. expecting voicemail. A real person answered and scheduled the estimate. The tech showed me thermal photos of my attic before and after the spray foam went in. Written price matched the final bill to the dollar.”

“The old fiberglass batts in our 1970s attic had compressed to almost nothing. Thistledown pulled them out, air-sealed the top plates, and blew in Knauf insulation. Downstairs rooms that used to swing 15 degrees between morning and evening finally hold steady.”

“I’ve had contractors leave mud on the carpet and a mess in the attic. Not these folks. Drop cloths down the hall, plastic over the attic staircase, and they sent me photos of the cleanup before they pulled out of the driveway. My kids were napping and I barely heard them working.”

“Spray foam quote came in lower than two other San Antonio companies, and the written price was locked in before they started. No surprise add-ons. The crew finished in one day and the difference in our bonus room above the garage was immediate.”

Why Customers Trust Us
The recurring theme in these reviews isn’t just the insulation. It’s the surprises that didn’t happen. No surprise charges. No mystery crew members. No voicemail dead ends at midnight. No fiberglass dust tracked across the living room. Our 365-Day Done Right Promise backs every job: if it’s not done right, we make it right. No debate, no fine print. Every customer gets a written price before any work starts, always included, never conditional. Our technicians are background-checked and wear uniforms, so when the doorbell rings, you know exactly who’s walking in. We install eight insulation brands, Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber, so the right product gets matched to your attic and your family. Thistledown is the soft fluff of the thistle, one of nature’s lightest insulators. The name is a promise about how carefully we work.
